Black Forest is known for its gorgeous serenity and its gorgeous trees. The Black Forest blocks most road noises and wind, but every once in a while, the wind will whistle across the forest. Don't be alarmed, this is normal. You are driving through bluffs and hills to get into and out of this neighborhood, weather in the forest in unpredictable from random snows to small hail.
We highly recommend 4-wheel drive vehicles.

"The home was very big, clean, secluded and like the other reviews mention, everything you need is here. We were a family of 11 staying here with 5 of our group being kids and they were in heaven. The home is huge! I wouldn’t consider myself a coffee drinker but the fresh ground coffee/espresso coffee maker had me hooked. Maranda was extremely helpful and responsive with anything and everything we needed. I can go on and on how much fun we had here and how everything was well appointed. I’ll finish it with this is definitely our place to stay in Colorado Springs from now on."
